To mark our 60th Aniversary in the 1999-2000 season, the MWOS singers
and orchestra, including ten soloists, entered the
studio from October 29 through 31, 1999, to record the first-ever studio
recording to include musical numbers from
every one of the 14 Gilbert & Sullivan operettas! The resulting CD
was released on January 19, 2000 at a gala launch held at Indigo Books
in Montreal. |
