West Operatic Society will produce "The Pirates of Penzance" opening
May 10, 2002. This rollicking comic operetta, is one of Gilbert's &
Sullivan's best known and beloved works of their 14 collaborations...

Operatic Society, currently rehearsing for The Pirates of Penzance,
recently went on their annual carol singing event in the streets of Montreal
West. Whilst some members sang Christmas favorites and stopped at lamp-posts
for much-needed light, other members went door-to-door collecting money for The
Montreal Children's Hospital.
By journey's end at the Town Hall, with mulled wine to warm frozen fingers and
toes, $1,450 had been raised...
